Since Greenify is all about efficiency, we chose to recycle barn wood from an old barn that stood just 50 feet from where this house was built. Rich McArthur of McArthur Construction, planed the old wood and recycled it into a new creation -- the base for the powder bath sink.
It turned out quite charming, as a little touch of old with new will do.
Mountainside Plumbing, arrived to do another professional job with the finish plumbing. They installed all the faucets, and shower and bath fixtures.
Iron Ornamental brought in the iron railing fabricated to perfection and installed it despite the rain and thick mud. The weather won't stop these guys.
The guys decided after struggling to bring in the staircase through the mud that bringing the railing through the house to the back deck would be a better idea.
Bart McQueen of McQueen Construction began the lathe for the kitchen range accent, as well as installing brick web from Old Mill Brick, an easy way to get a brick look without having to stack each brick individually.
The goal is to make it look like the inside of a brick kiln.
New Leaf Cabinets continued their cabinet finish. Their installer was a perfectionist and the detail was beautifully done.
Bullett Electric installed all the electrical outlets and lighting fixtures. Most of the lighting is with the lifetime LED lights Greenify specializes installing. The accent lighting came with incandescents, which will be changed out with LED bulbs for energy efficiency. No high electrical bills in this house.
