Finished!

It was a race to see which would finish first -- the interior or the exterior.  Mother Nature got the best of us, and the interior was ready first!  McQueen Construction finished up the last of the rock work outside.
The appliances were all installed and the house was ready for finish cleaning.
Despite the thick layer of dust all over everything, it was still exciting to see the work complete.
The fireplace turned out to be a fantastic combination of old and new -- the barn wood trim atop the rock fireplace brought in another detail from the land this house was built on.  It was old barn wood taken from a barn that stood just 50 feet where this house now stands.  The fireplace mantle was an old railroad tie that had been used as a beam in that barn.  The laminate floor combines all the various shades of wood finishes in this focal point.
The iron balusters were completed by McArthur Construction.
Upstairs bath with niche before towel hooks were installed.  Because this bath is in the interior of the house with no windows for natural light, sun tubes were added.  Such a great way to keep this area lit during the day, using solar energy, rather than turning on the lights!
 Upstairs flex space.

 Simple, but impressive looking staircase.

Highly satisfied customers.  Can't wait to ask them what their energy consumption is.  Stay tuned for a report next week.
